Laid off, waiting for work

I got laid off last year and haven’t been able to find work since. So I went back to school and am pursuing a long-time dream of mine that I’ve never had the courage to pursue before. I love it. Not having a paycheck is a bummer, though.

I waiting for my career to take off

I am worried about admitting that I am not as successful as I'd like to be in a certain area of my life such as my career. I would rather not admit it, because I am a more guarded person.

Having life beside work

Getting home at 8:30 and then I get about an hour’s run in. Doesn’t leave much time to unwind in the evening. ...I am still working on my highest goal.

I don't want a job

If the point of life is to work, make money and babies… I want out. I feel like I should be experiencing life for what life really is. I want to get out there and enjoy the world!!

I want any job

I am a honest person and a hard worker also.so i want to do work with honesty.i also can do job in night shifts also. i don't need more breaks in the working time. i am also available on Sunday and public holidays. i can do every laborer work. cleaning. trolley pushing

Job before I graduate

For the goal that I have to have a job before I get out of school I think it’s a great goal for me because, I have needs just like every one else. I also think I need a job because it’s the responsible thing to have at this age. It will also be good because it will keep me busy and stay out of trouble.

New job, quit last one

I made a huge mistake of quitting my last job, and i am beyond relieved to finally of found a new one. the first paycheck is much, much, much needed :)

I'm waiting by the phone to hear if I got a new job or not.

Yesterday I went to a school and gave a try-out lesson, today the other candidate will have given his (or her, I don'’t know which), so they could call me now any minute. Waiting is horrible.. I keep telling myself that by tomorrow, I'’ll either know that ....

Should I tell the job offer that I'm waiting on another interview (which is for more money and better hours for me) or not? The job offer firm wants my bank details etc to get me straight into payroll for when I start. ....

Confirming Employment

I was told by the women interviewing/boss that she'll call me today to confirm employment and let me know when to start this new job.I am needing a day off at the end of next month and a week in August which is strange for me because I never usually miss work.The workplace seems relaxed yet the job is intense.When interviewing me the lady said several times that she cares about people getting to work and being on time.So,that being said when should I ask for the day off?Should I ask for the day now or wait till I have been working there a month so they can see how dedicated I am and understand or should I warn them about both the day and week ahead of time?How should I bring it up?
